Réseaux sociaux : la mort du blogging ?

The study " Year 2010 U.S. Digital " published earlier this month showed - among other things - the decline of e-mail (especially among youth), the benefit of social networks ... , Facebook messaging in mind.

Continuing their destructive work, social networks are also about to kill blogging. The New York Times published a few days ago an article particular addressing the decline in attendance of blogging platforms like Blogger and success of Tumblr and Twitter, although easier to use ... and encouraging the writing of messages short.
Shiny Shiny comment this article (or rather another article, the first derivative) and enacts "5 reasons why Twitter could kill the Blogs." It seems worthwhile to review them.

1. It is easier to write about Twitter on a blog.
course, writing takes less time when one is limited to 140 characters (Twitter), but the purpose changes: the brevity of Tweets pushes users to use and abuse of copies of links when they are content to comment in 2 words.

2. It's easier to read.
See above: it is easier to read if we make the economy reading the article or study that may be associated. Unless it whether about personal and useless like "I go get my bread" or "there was nothing on TV". Except in this case, few people took the trouble to blog this "information" (or they were not followed, except for some Marion ... without comment.)

3. People respond.
Yes and no. The "Retweet" allows for a multiplication of the reach of the message. But a Twitter user who has only 5 followers will never be more "influential" a blogger who is read by 100 people every day (and hopefully some comments).

4. Everyone is there.
Here we go! In other words, Twitter has become fashionable and everyone knows it. But fame does not necessarily use. This graphics recent and very interesting (we'll come back probably soon) tells us that among those with a Twitter account, 33% never tweet that 80% have less than 10 followers ... So yes, all the world is. But in France politicians out of the microcosm / communication professionals / geeks, widespread use is slow to be seen.

5. It is less revealing of personality.
... But is that what readers want? If they follow Justin Bieber, perhaps. That said, nothing prevents a blogger to personalize his remarks.

It appears that actually uses evolve, but the tools are complementary. If the activity "blogging" is going down is that a more appropriate tool to some of its uses is apparent. It appears, however difficult that one replaces the other. Similarly, the observed phenomenon may reflect the slowdown of the "fashion" for the "blogging" when it is precisely "Twitter" is hype today. Expect that the movement running out of steam again, or it reaches its cruising speed.

Finally, note that the subject is topical ironically, as an individual: while I am at this difficult time to publish regularly on this blog, I finally gave my Twitter account a new breath ... ( @ Orlnt ). The tool, in use, provide comfort, fun, really useful and interesting, but in essence it does not develop an idea ... Blogging
he will then only by those who take the trouble to develop a reflection on more than 3 lines?

Need Help Tracking My Period

meeting with Giovanni Maria Bellu

Giovanni Maria Bellu meets the students of the University Paul Valery
Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 14:30 Room C020
Italian writer and journalist

Biography of Giovanni Maria Bellu
Born in Cagliari in 1957, after working for many years La Nuova Sardegna , Giovanni Maria Bellu joined the prestigious newspaper La Repubblica . First in charge of heading domestic policy , in 1995 he became special envoy to the daily. As such, it covers and investigates major national and international events: the operations of Gladio (the vast underground structure threatening Italian democracy), the death of Ilaria Alpi or the sinking of Yoham in December 1996 carrying 300 immigrants on board. Co-director of the daily The Unità since August 2008, he was the author of essays and novels among which ' The Man Who Would Be Peron 'in which investigative journalism is, for once, fiction.

Milena Velba Breast Feeding

Une campagne d'influence environnementale...

BrainsFeed is a carefully crafted campaign of influence in favor of wind turbines. The operation is based on a simple formula: A site dedicated crossed with radio spots that relay the message simple and effective.

"The audience of some French-speaking Belgian radio (Nostalgia, anyway) are currently offered messages, presented as intervention journalists or entertainers, who say that turbines are not as lethal to birds than it is commonly accepted ( http://www.quandonypense.be/node/30 ). The capsule returns so often on the antennae that can not be anything other than a share of influence (promotional / lobbying) for wind turbines. It is true that each new project to set up windmills raised its share of protests and actions contrary.

The campaign, which finds its echo on the Web site through http:/www.quandonypense.be is the work of APERE ( http://www.apere.org ) which is the Association for the Promotion of Energy Renewable. This association is therefore in its role when it promotes the wind, and what is trying to change the reputation. It would however be interesting to know who is funding this campaign. This could well be the EWEA (European Wind Energy Association), an NGO based in Brussels, appearing on the "Register of interest representatives" of the European Commission (Registrar of Lobbyists) and also a partner in the APERE.
As in any communication influence, the arguments may be subjected to criticism. Thus, the message carried by these advertisements (the turbines are not responsible the deaths of birds, unlike cats and buildings) is part of a longstanding argument (it is found in a paper published in 2009 by the APERE with the support of the Walloon Region (http://www .apere.org / doc / Brochure_eolien_light.pdf - page 27). We learn also that the study behind these arguments is Canadian (he is not sure environmental conditions are the same there and here. According to some discussions of Internet, the world of wind turbines would still not as idyllic as we present the APERE "

Petizione contro Berlusconi

Sign the petition pour les démissions de Belusconi
  http://www.libertaegiustizia.it/2011/01/20/resignation-firma-lappello-di-leg/
1. Dimissioni
2. Presenza in aula
Chiediamo a Silvio Berlusconi di non utilizzare la televisione to defend themselves and discredit the judges with its considerable media power, but to present to the courts as would any citizen . In court, Mr Berlusconi will still benefit from having signed the highest paid lawyers in the country. We hope for him and for Italy, which is able to prove his innocence. Since Berlusconi and his supporters argue that the courts are hopelessly biased against it, remember that more than one occasion he was granted the benefit of the doubt. If Mondadori, for example, the court judged in November 2001, the position of head of government a "mitigating circumstance" that only in his case, the prosecution dropped the statute of limitations.
3. The role of the President of the Republic
In a situation where two major branches of government - the judiciary and the executive - face off in an extremely dangerous fight for the future of the Republic, we ask the President Napolitano to assess the situation and intervene promptly, within the limits prescribed by the Constitution.
4. Opposition parties
We call on all opposition parties to put aside their differences and to abandon any desire to excel, but asked with one voice the resignation of Premier .
5. We call on civil society
many associations and the hundreds of thousands of citizens who identify with the civil society to concentrate their forces and to unite in a common policy. We ask especially the Catholic world to urge the Vatican to rule on an issue of public ethics as important.
6. Friends of Italy in the world
We wrote this appeal in both English and Italian in order to send a message to all those who love our democracy abroad and the fate of our country. Do not lose confidence in Italy! We need your solidarity and your help.
